Unit 7

November 3, 2009

My research topic is:  The problem of the discrimination of Coptic Christians in Egypt

-The database i chose to research information about my topic is Project Muse.

-The database i chose was Project Muse because it provides many studies and information on  all problems in the middle east. It covers wide topics as gender equality, politics and religion which is my focus.  It covers mainly all religions but also focuses on coptic christians situation and the problems they might encounter in the muslim world.

- This is the journal that contains the information I would want to use in my research:

Fargues, Philippe. “Demographic Islamization: Non-Muslims in Muslim Countries.” SAIS Review 21.2 (2001): 103-116. Project MUSE. [Library name], [City], [State abbreviation]. 26 Oct. 2009 <http://muse.jhu.edu/>.
